Celebrity Ski Week Program: 21 - 28 January 2012

The following is the entertainment we have planned for your stay.  All drinks are for your own account.
On the evenings where dinner is included, we have a set meal and have indicated below what the menu is for the respective evenings.  Should you have any specific dietary requirements and have advised us, an alternative will be arranged. 
If you decide not to join in on an evening, please SMS Sandy so that we don’t keep everyone waiting.
There are no refunds on cancellations or no-shows.
Please note that depending on snow conditions, this program is subject to change and we will SMS you accordingly so kindly ensure we have your correct contact number.
On arrival you would have received a lime green armband, please ensure you wear this at all times as it will allow you access to the dinner venues.

21st January, Saturday

WELCOME EVENING

18h30: MEET IN THE RECEPTION OR OUTSIDE OF YOUR PENSION/ HOTEL 
After you’ve fitted your ski equipment and settled in at your Pension / Hotel, a Snocomber representative will collect you to lead the way to our welcome evening at Café Rainer in town where a traditional dinner (included in package) awaits us.
Live music will get the party started with performances from our celebrities, Kurt Darren and Elvis Blue.  The Snocomber team and your ski instructors will also be on hand for any queries you may have.  If you would like to ski first thing in the morning, then please collect your ski pass from Sandy tonight.
MENU: Mixed Salad followed by a Wiener Schnitzel (pork) served with parsley potatoes, Desert.

22nd January, Sunday

08h30: Ski lifts open! If you’re not taking lessons, then hit the slopes for the early burn! (same for the rest of the week).
09h30: Meet the Snocomber team on the slope opposite the Ski Hire ready to ski (with ski equipment, gloves, goggles, beanies, cameras,     etc.).  Your ski passes will be handed out here.
09h45: Lessons – you will be met by your Ski / Snowboard instructor – hand them your ski lesson voucher (collect from Sandy).  Lessons commence at 10h00 and end at 15h00 (throughout the duration of your ski lessons and your ski instructor will advise where to meet each morning).
15h30 – 16h30: Daily Snocomber help desk located at Max pub if you have any queries.
15h30: MEET AT MAX’S PUB FOR SKIBOBBING WITH BOB SKINSTADonly those who booked for skibobbing with Bob.  Kindly meet the Snocomber representative at the ski hire, who will take you to collect your skibobs.  Head up to the main Gondola and take the lift to middle station (first stop).   En route down you will stop at a few of the mountain pubs for a quick refreshment - “Pub crawl in the snow”.  NB!! You will need your ski pass.
17h00: Après ski at Max’s pub – your “after ski” drinks! Festive party which takes place every day!
18h30: First sitting for an a-la-carte dinner at Villa Masianco (located next door to Bunny’s pub on the main road) – your sitting has been allocated as per your booking form.  Dinner is for your own account.
20h30: Second sitting for an a-la-carte dinner at Villa Masianco.  Order from the menu and dinner is for your own account.
21h00: KARAOKE AT BUNNY’S PUB  - The challenge is on to see who can sing as great as our Celebrities – get those vocal cords into shape!


23rd January, Monday

08h45: SKI AWAY – only for those who pre-booked this option – please meet at the ski hire for the transport to new and exciting ski slopes!
16h00: LIVE MUSIC AT MAX’S RED UMBRELLA – our Celebrities, Kurt Darren and Elvis Blue, will be performing for us this afternoon as well as a taste of our local Austrian talent, “Right Said Fred”.  Enjoy a few mugs of Gluhwein or Hot Chocolate to keep warm. Weather permitting, we’ll be outside so dress in your ski suits and bring gloves – you’ll need these for our after dinner action!
18h00 – 18h30: BUMBOARDING EVENING - After the après ski party, we take a short walk up the slope to Schöne Aussicht (the Hotel located on the left as you look up the slope from Max’s.    A traditional Austrian meal has been arranged for tonight.  This is for your own account – the cost is Eur 12.00 per person and you can settle this with your waiter.After dinner, we seat ourselves on thick snow discs and hurtle down the slope. MENU: Tiroler Gröstl (consists of pork, roughly cut potatoes, onions, a few herbs & topped off with a fried egg) served with cabbage salad & Desert.
21h30: LIVE MUSIC AT BUNNY’S PUB – FROG ON THE TYNE – SENSATIONAL DUO


24th January, Tuesday  SOUTH AFRICAN CARNIVAL DAY!!

08h45: SKI AWAY – only for those who pre-booked this option – please meet at the ski hire for the transport to new and exciting ski slopes!
17h00: THE SKI INSTRUCTOR SHOW ON THE SLOPE OPPOSITE MAX’S PUB – our local ski instructors put on an amazing show - not to be missed!  Come dressed in your fancy dress outfit!!!
18h30-19h00: After the ski show, we move to the Hubertusklause Restaurant located next to Max’s pub for dinner (included in package). MENU: Grilled Half-chicken served with chips and vegetables, Desert.After dinner we start the party in Max’s pub with DJ Alex and will do our prize giving for the best dressed!


25th January, Wednesday

08h45: SKI AWAY – only for those who pre-booked this option – please meet at the ski hire for the transport to new and exciting ski slopes!
15h30: MEET AT MAX’S PUB FOR SKIBOBBING WITH KURT DARREN & ELVIS BLUEonly those who booked for skibobbing  with these amazing celebs.  You will meet your Snocomber representative, at the ski hire, who will take you to collect your skibobs.  Head up to the main Gondola and take the lift to middle station (first stop).   En route down you will stop at a few of the mountain pubs for a quick refreshment - “Pub crawl in the snow”.  NB!! You will need your ski pass.
TOBOGGANNING EVENING
18h00: MEET @ ROGI’S STADLEveryone to be dressed in ski suits, moon boots and gloves (and goggles), we make our way to the beginner slopes where we take the chairlifts up the mountain (first the red 2-man and then the black 3-man). Once at the top of the 3-man chairlift we head off to the left to Restaurant Hochfeld for a scrumptious dinner (included in package).After dinner we head down the floodlit toboggan track with daredevil’s first followed by the racers and finally the sensible Tobogganers.  Please note that if you decide not to toboggan, you will need to take the lift down at 21h00 as the lift closes at 21h30.MENU: Tomato Soup followed by Roast beef served with croquettes and vegetables, Desert.


26th January, Thursday

11h00: Ski race for those in ski school – come and join us at Restaurant Hirschberg just above the start of the toboggan track and support the racers!  Remember your prize giving for the race will be at Café Rainer at 21h00 tonight.
15h00: BRAAI IN THE SNOW! – we meet at Gasthof Pointenhof for our “Braai with a difference”.  Those of you in ski school will be guided by your ski instructor.  For the skiers – take the blue runs 2a and 3b from middle station or the red runs 1a and 3a to get there – it’s the Restaurant number 3 on the ski map.  If anyone does not want to ski there, then please meet the Snocomber tour leader at Max’s pub at 14h45 and you can come up by taxi.
  You can make your way down the mountain at leisure after the braai – for anyone who does not want to ski – there will be taxi’s available to take you down.
EVENING AT LEISURE
Tonight is for you to spend at your leisure.
21h30: LIVE MUSIC AT BUNNY’S PUB – LEGENDARY ROCKER, TERRY SLESSER – not to be missed!


27th January, Friday

15h30: MEET AT MAX’S PUB FOR SKIBOBBING WITH NAAS BOTHAonly those who booked for skibobbing with Naas.  Kindly meet the Snocomber representative at the ski hire, who will take you to collect your skibobs.  Head up to the main Gondola and take the lift to middle station (first stop).   En route down you will stop at a few of the mountain pubs for a quick refreshment - “Pub crawl in the snow”.  NB!! You will need your ski pass.
FAREWELL EVENING
18h30: MEET @ BUNNY’S PUBThe farewell dinner is our final evening together to laugh about the holiday’s happenings and exchange contact details with your new friends you’ve made this holiday.  An Austrian gala dinner awaits us at Gasthof Post in the pedestrian area on the right before you get to the Church.  Before we head to dinner, we will view the video that’s been taken during the week at Bunny’s pub.MENU: Noodle Soup, Schweinshaxen (Roast pork knuckle) served with red cabbage & roast potatoes, Desert.


28th January, Saturday

DEPARTURE DAY

A sad day for all as we bid farewell and transfer back to Munich Airport.
Breakfast will be served from 8am.
We will start collecting from the respective Pensions and Hotels from 09h00 so please be ready in the reception or outside with your luggage.
